Today is: Sunday's Child

Making lists, ranking, judging, complaining. It’s all part of attempting to recap the year that is about to end. A lot of things have happened this year, there is no way for me to sit back and make a list of it. I’ll leave that to the professionals. The list makers.

I got a little dose of the “hey, remember when…”‘s last night. A friend I hadn’t seen in a couple of years came up to visit me while I was hanging with my sister and her boyfriend. He was a piano player, but he’s really into dirt biking, mountain biking, and being in nature. He still plays piano. Though now he works for the BLM in Grand Junction Colorado. He’s having a great time, which is awesome.

Instead, I look forward to one last day to sit and visit with family members while on vacation. Later tonight I’ll be hanging with some new friends that I met while here on vacation. So it will be a bit of a jam session tonight as one of them has asked to play music with me tonight. I’m sure it will be fun.

Which brings me to a fledgling band Plan Into Action. They’re going after that modern type of punk pop. They’re doing with a bit of reckless abandon which is cool. It would be even cooler to see what they achieve under the hands a powerhouse producer.

They’re attempting a strategy that I’ve seen a few bands take and that is you’re able to go download their album for free. That’s right, this Sunday’s Child is allowing you go to the link I’ve provided for the CD and let you have the whole darn thing for free. So if you’re a fan of the slightly unpolished moderny punky kinda pop, then you’re a kid in a candy store with this one. Enjoy!!

Inspired by great music and randomly spewed words, it makes for a fun way to learn about new music doesn't it? There is no money that can get you on to the site.
