Ever have a day you either wanted to forget or do over? That was my day yesterday. In fact it was such that I really wanted to crawl into a hole and forget about it.
Somehow that translated in to a reckless sleep pattern and at about 4 a.m. I was considering what the hell am I doing with this blog. I kinda thought I should throw in the towel. Like I ran out of things to say.
Instead I’ve opted for a day of silence. To clear the head. Though that really wasn’t what I got. I had a recording session this morning with a co-writer. Nearly finished the song we’ve been working on. So that’s a good thing. Then I took off to Hermosa Beach to hang with friends and drink beer. Needed to spend some time away from music and everything else…
Thus this is a moment of silence. Or rather a day of it. Hopefully I’ll return with less clutter and a better desire to write of some music tomorrow.
