In a state of sweat

I’ve come down off the fever of 103 that I had yesterday. I’m at about 99.7 now. I spent last night in a state of delirium. Oh the joys of being ill.

I’m all sweaty and not for any good reason. Not for a reason that I would like to be sweaty. I’d much prefer to be getting good exercise or something. Anything other than being sick. I really don’t like a coated tongue that can’t taste much. A Swollen throat. Ugh.

I need to go nap some more.

In the meantime, I will leave you with a song that I somehow remembered had a line about having a fever of 103. Hot Blooded. Exactly what I must be at the moment. Although I don’t think it’s the idea behind the song that Foreigner had in mind when they wrote the song. I think their definition has more to do with having the hots for someone you find attractive.

It’s what I’d call a perfect classic rock song. Smashing guitars and pounding drums providing hard support for a well trained voice over the top. I’d love to write more, but I’m in need of rest. If you don’t have this in your library, go get it!
