There’s nothing like coming into the end of summer already having had a couple of weeks where you had a strange cold, get well, then all of a sudden wack get hit with another. That’s me this morning. I’m able to breath but boy did I feel dry in the early morning. Had to get a moist towel on my face. But it’s the sore throat that I’ve got that really irks me.
It also doesn’t help that I have that strange feeling on the skin where it doesn’t like my own touch. Ever had that? Where your skin actually kinda hurts when you touch it? Very ugly feeling to have when you’re wanting to get out and do something out in the sun. Unfortunately I won’t be out mountain biking today. Which is a drag. Especially after a couple of good days of writing and recording. Oh well.
I suppose I can use a little bit of a day off, but I didn’t want it like this…
Thus I’m going to show off the artist that tends to be my goto music when I’m not happy with illness. I’ve done it before. I’ll do it again. I don’t know why. With that in mind, I’ll leave you with a very cool little piece of music that should be on iTunes & other digital services – alas it’s not.
I will be asleep and resting while I let this loop and go on a nice little journey in my head to forget the icky feeling.
