Ok, ok. I’m a slug. I blame it on the Super Bowl from yesterday.

Actually that’s a poor excuse as I got up at my normal time. But I immediately went for a nice long run. Came back had to throw some food down my throat and hop in the car. I had a writing session for the day and I was running late already. Then of course I spaced on getting the post up for the day. Better sooner than later right?

What does all that equal for me so far?

I’m having a fine day. Thank the stars or rather the sun and the moon that James had a song I could put in right now.

I’m grooving on my break for food to this little ditty. It’s bouncy and airy. That’s a good thing in a song. I also really dig the space of the little arpeggiated guitar part that starts the song. Lots of space there. I can hear the room. Love it!

Since it’s nice and sunny out and I’m doing the thing I love to do (writing songs), I think I will leave at that. You can enjoy James. I do think you ought to explore more of James. He’s got a few CD’s out. Lots of little gems there. He’s a cool guy to boot. I’ve caught him performing at Kulak’s Woodshed in North Hollywood. Always seems to have a chipper attitude and a nice thing to say. I think it comes through in the music too!

Go get him. Now!
