From my ears to yours, it’s music I think you should buy.

Borders we cross

Today's Style: Rock Monday January 15, 2007

Ok, I’ve been typing with this Dvorak setup for less than a day. I like it, but it’s very weird having to think out what I’m typing. I’ve memorized the keys but it’s still slow for me. Unlike the automatic pilot that I’m used to. With that in mind, I’m likely to keep this post short to save on speed frustration. Normally I type with a speed of about 65 to 75 wpm. Getting used to this is certainly going to require patience.

Canada must be on my mind. Metric the other day and now Our Lady Peace. Canada is also in the news, so is Mexico. Seems that at the end of the month travel between the US, Canada and Mexico is going to change. After the 23rd we’ll need a passport for air travel. I suppose that I didn’t know we don’t currently need it. Apparently it has caused a spike in passport applications. Go figure.

Thus if you need to see about a girl, it’s best you do it this coming week. What movie am I referencing?

Our Lady Peace has been around for a while. They’ve had a few lineup changes and survived. That’s a good thing. What can I say? I dig the music.

(** Disclaimer: If OLP’s label becomes cross with me, I’ll have to abandon the audio. The post shall remain to show my first post with a new keyboard layout. **)

Inspired by great music and randomly spewed words, it makes for a fun way to learn about new music doesn't it?
